Please post a "Will Attend" log on this event page to stay
appraised of the final details. If we need to make any
announcements about this event, all registered attendees will
automatically receive an email copy of those announcements via the
email you have registered with your Geocaching.com account. Adding
a "Will Attend" log to this page will also assure enough hard copy
handouts are printed for the event participants.
Please arrive on time so upfront administrative details can be
handled and announcements made, allowing the course content to
start precisely at 7:00 p.m. (or 1900hrs if you prefer). Also,
please bring your favorite nonalcoholic beverage and a dessert to
share with your fellow cachers.
There will be a free-will offering cache container at the event
to help defray the costs of hosting these FUNdamentals events if
you would like to make a donation. The GeAK Store will be available
onsite immediately before and after the presentation. You may
purchase items from our line of GxProxy gear as well as official
GroundSpeak merchandise. The brand new GeocacheAlaska! Jade
Geocoins will also be available along with the new GeAK PathTag,
which is available in very limited quantity.
If you have requests for EduVent topics, have a topic that you
would like to present to the Alaskan geocaching community, or would
like to host future presentations like this one elsewhere in
Alaska, please contact Education Committee Chair and GeAK
WebMaster, SSO
JOAT.
