Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache was intended to be closer to the church but because of a nearby cache we had to change location. The good news is the church can be seen from the cache.
Be aware: this cache is a difficult one. You may see it before you can get it, be patient and you will get the chance to grab it.
There is no pen in the cache so make sure you have one with you.
The Romford Trintiy Methodist Church was built in 1887 for the price of £2,600, it was designed in the early Gothic style in best red bricks. At the entrance is a central arch doorway above which there are three lancet tracery windows. On either side there are staircases leading to the end gallery. The chapel seats 600 people and is divided into nave and side aisles. The nave roof is supported by iron columns connected by arcades; the pulpit is in a recess over which is a well proportioned arch.
The most prominent feature of the church at night is it's neon cross high above the entrance.
More information about the church can be found here: Trinity Romford
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
