Ma 3ème cache, 1,2,3 GO !!!
Située à Plombières-lès-Dijon, plus précisément sur la route de Pasques (sur la D10, en venant de Dijon, passer sous le viaduc du Neuvon, parking 200 mètres plus loin à droite), la grotte du Contard est une des grottes de Côte-d’Or la plus connue des promeneurs Dijonnais. En effet c’est une cavité intéressante pour l'initiation. Sur plus de 200 mètres de galeries, le visiteur découvrira les aspects les plus intéressants de la spéléologie : un mélange de géologie, de biologie, de rencontres, d’activité physique et de protection du patrimoine souterrain (chauves souris et concrétions).
La grotte du Contard fut explorée pour la 1ère fois sur 50 m en 1808 par Nodot puis atteint 280 m en 1815. Son développement est de 320 m avec -18 m de profondeur.
Cette grotte compte trois entrées : deux supérieures et une entrée basse (voir photos).
Les coordonnées de la cache vous emmènent à l’entrée basse de la grotte. La cache se trouve à l’intérieur, environs 4/5 mètres de l’entrée. Pensez à prendre une petite torche pour découvrir la cache car il fait “nuit”.
ATTENTION: Je ne vous recommande pas d’explorer cette grotte à moins d’être un spéléologue averti. Après libre à vous d’y aller mais cela sera de votre propre responsabilité !!!
Pour aller à la cache, je vous suggère de vous garer sur un parking de gravier à proximité (voir waypoint additionnel). Le reste du chemin se fera par une balade à pied.
Cette cache est un tube couleur noir de 5 cm de long qui contient un logbook et un crayon lesquels sont à laisser à l’intérieur.
IMPORTANT: je vous demande de remettre et bien cacher le tube comme vous l'aurez trouvé. Merci.

Located to Plombières-lès-Dijon, more exactly towards Pasques (on D10 road by coming from Dijon, to cross under the viaduct of Neuvon, and go to the parking), the Cave of Contard is one of caves in Côte-d'Or the most known for the walkers from Dijon. Indeed it is an interesting cavity for the introduction and training to the caving sport. With more than 200 meters of galleries, the visitor will discover the most interesting aspects of the caving: a mixture of geology, biology, meetings, physical activity and protection of the underground heritage (bats and concretions).
The Cave of Contard was explored for the 1st time on 50 m in 1808 by Nodot then reaches 280 m in 1815. Its development is 320 m with 18 m of depth.
This cave account three entrances: two at the top and one a low entrance (see photos).
The coordinates of the hiding place (cache) take you to the low entrance of the cave. The hiding place is inside, about 4/5 meters of entrance. Think of taking a small torch to discover this hiding place because it’s “dark”.
WARNING: I do not recommend you to explore this cave unless being a warned speleologist. But it is up to you to go there and it will be your own responsibility!!!
To go to the hiding place (cache), I suggest you to park at the coordinates of the additional waypoint. The rest of the way will be a little walk/ramble.
This cache is a black tube 5 cm length with a logbook and a pencil, which are to be left inside.
