The cache is located a few meters below the summit. From the top you have a great view on the surrounding mountains, most prominent Jof di Montasio and Kanin. On the way you get lots of company from the ibexes. :-)
Terra Rossa is a summit of the Montasio group with a relatively easy access. The hike is 4.8 km long and the difference in altitude is 920m.
You can park your car at the Altipiano del Montasio. Follow the way towards the Rifugio Brazza, on the way you can see many marmots. From there a marked path leads up to Terra Rossa. Already at an altitude of 1800m you can see the first ibexes, especially the males.
There is no climbing but you need a head for heights, surefootedness and good condition. The slope is directed to the south, so it is exposed to the sun. Please don't put any stones on the box, so that it doesn't get damaged.
