Geocache Description:

35mm magnetic film canister. Please bring a pen.

Opened in 1899, this is the youngest of London's mainline terminal stations, and also one of the smallest, having opened with only four of the originally planned 10 platforms. It is also the only terminal station in London to host only diesel trains, having no electrified lines. From 1967 for many years it was served only by diesel multiple-unit trains (DMUs). Occasionally special trains hauled by diesel or steam locomotives also visit Marylebone.

*** This is part of the Tigglets Tiggopoly cache series, inspired by Firelanterns Flonopoly. This series will eventually contain all the streets on the monopoly board. The caches will be become available one by one as they are hidden and approved of. The number in the name of the cache is to identify the order they were hidden in and is not to be followed as the order to find them in.***
