This is the seventh cache of 10 in a walk of approx 7 miles around Repton, Milton and Foremark.
It is long walk with some slight inclines and so has a slightly higher difficulty and terrain rating but this does not mean any of the caches are particularly difficult or arduous to find.
Good boots/wellies are a good idea especially after bad weather as some of the paths can get quite muddy and wet in places. An Ordnance Survey Map would also be useful for this walk.
This series of caches has been designed as a geo-walk in the beautiful countryside around the Derbyshire villages of Repton, Milton and Foremark.
In a bid to encourage people to walk the entire route the co-ordinates to 1 of the caches is hidden within another cache, for this reason it is advisable to follow the route in number order from #1 - #10.
Not all the caches are suitable for all as some of the terrain is unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
A small amount of parking is available at the start of the series at the top of Monsom Lane, but please be respectful of the local residents.
Stealth is required for some of the caches in this series. Please ensure all caches are re-hidden well so as not to be of interest to passing muggles.
Please be aware that some of the footpaths cross farmland where livestock may be grazing, so dogs may need to be on a lead.
The cache sizes range from nano to regular and all are placed on public footpaths.
It is worth noting that there are also other caches in the area which may be of interest
