Geocache Description:

The benefice of Winkfield and Cranbourne is made up of three churches:

St Martin's, Chavey Down
St Mary's, Winkfield
St Peter's, Cranbourne

St Mary’s Church dates back to 1298 and is a listed building. One notable feature is that the names of all the vicars are engraved on a plaque in the church. Also, inside the church the oak pillars supporting the roof run down the centre of the aisle, making St Mary’s a rarity as the only church in Berkshire and one of only four in the country to have aisle-located columns (the bride and groom have to part company for wedding services). In 1592 Queen Elizabeth I gave one of the octagonal pillars to the church and in 1887 Queen Victoria gave another.

You are looking for a 35mm container.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list.
