Geocache Description:

Congrats paul+elaine FTF :D

Letterbox hybrid located on the old Corstorphine railway branch.

The Corstorphine branch line went from Edinburgh Haymarket to Corstorphine in western Edinburgh. It was a short line stemming from the Edinburgh to Glasgow line with only three stops, Balgreen Halt, Pinkhill and Corstorphine. The branch was closed in 1967

Today the line is a popular dog walking and cycling route. The cache is located at the old Pinkhill station where the original platforms still exist (see image in gallery)

GPS signal may not be very accurate due to surroundings.

--- A new stamp has been added to the cache on 03/07/12. Please do not remove the stamp from the cache and ensure that it is placed back within the bag provided to ensure the cache remains clean. Also please ensure that the cache is well hidden when you replace it :) ---
