Geocache Description:

The mysterious abandoned structure on top of the cliff is clearly visible by anyone driving on a mountain road from Sudak to Novy Svet at about 1 km from the latter. To get to it you'll have to carefully climb up a cliff about 100 meters from the road, taking a path slightly curved to the left.

The structure consists of a rusty building about 5 m tall with superstructures and antenna masts on top. On the roadside below it there are ruins of an electrical supply substation. The vicinity were largely militarized and populated with top-secret research facilities of Soviet era, which gives birth to numerous theories as to what this object was -- radio beacon, secret relay station, satellite link post etc. Once you're there you can enjoy a great view of the Novy Svet bay as well as Alchak and Meganom capes.

The cache is hidden in a crack in the rocks. To locate the crack, stand in the middle of eastward wall of the building and search 1-2 meters from the right (your right) corner of the wall eastward. The opening of the crack is also facing east, thus it is not visible while you stay where building is.

The container is a small plastic box about 15x5x5 cm in size. Seed contents of the cache includes badges, flashlight+whistle, logbook and pencil.
