Almost every day tourists from all over the world pile out of tour buses here to photograph the magnificent Twelve Apostles - a 1000m mountain range rising steeply from the classy beach setting of Camps Bay, playground of the rich and famous.
The tidal pool area is a delightful safe setting for families and it features some awesome giant granite boulder formations.
It is however an intense muggle zone, especially at weekends in summer and although the container is well hidden stealth is essential. Best is to try early morning or during the week.
You can savour more of the ambience with refreshments as you watch paragliders land at the nearby country club surrounded by some of the most expensive real estate on the African continent.
