Située en haut du chemin de Châteauneuf (au départ de la route d’Apt au bout de l’allée de platanes à droite)
La chapelle Notre Dame de Châteauneuf
Ancienne église Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption, de la fin du XIe ou du début du XIIe . Il s’agit probablement de l’ancienne chapelle d'un château dont le souvenir ne subsiste plus que dans le nom du village de Châteauneuf-lès-Mane, rattaché à MANE au XVe siècle.
Des messes y sont encore célébrées.
Le gardiennage de la chapelle est assuré par une soeur ermite, logée dans le prieuré attenant.
Autour de la chapelle quelques traces laissent supposer l'existence d'un oppidum, preuve que le site était occupé à l'époque romaine.

The chapel Notre Dame de Châteauneuf
The origin of the chapel "Notre Dame de Châteauneuf" probably lies in the church "Notre-Dame-de-l`Assumption" which was built in the end of the 11th or the beginning of the 12th century. The chapel probably belonged to an old castle whose ruins do not exist any more but whose existence is remembered by the name of the village "Chateauneuf-lès-Mane" which belongs to Mane since the 15th century.
Even today sometimes a Holy Mass is celebrated in the chapel. The actual guard of the chapel is a nun who lives in the attached priory.
Some traces around the chapel make assume the existence of an oppidum, showing that the place was probably occupied at the times of the Romans.
