Geocache Description:

4/23/02 - Matt Stum originally placed this cache on May 27, 2000 making it the very first cache placed in the state of Michigan. I have adopted this cache because Matt lives out of the area and is unable to provide maintenance when needed. - ABXGuy

CACHE HAS BEEN REMOVED

The cache is located Southeast of Mesick, MI. While in the area make a stop at the highest elevation in Lower Michigan, Brier Hill (N 44° 21.960', W 85° 40.764'), elevation: 1706’. The cache is accessible from several possible routes but all require 4WD to be able to get very close. Without 4WD, depending on your approach, plan to walk a mile or two. Mark a waypoint at your car or you could be walking even a longer distance. Be sure to carry a water bottle! Cache is a 4” x 16” PVC pipe with a screw on cover and placed adjacent to the now empty original black pail container.

Please return the cache to its covered, concealed & secure condition where you found it.
