Das wirklich Besondere auf der Tauplitzalm sind deren 6 Gebirgseen. In der Eiszeit geformt, beinhalten sie kristallklares Wasser, das an manchen Seen sogar zum "Bergbaden" einlädt. Die weitläufige Alm ist das größte Seenhochplateau Mitteleuropas - ein einzigartige Wandergegend! Der pflanzliche Artenreichtum rund um die Seenlandschaft ist enorm.
Daher bietet sich an, die 6-Seen Wanderung mit einem Multicache zu erleben, quasi eine CACHERung

Ein relativ einfache Almwanderweg, für jeden machbar, meist auf geschotterten oder auf Waldpfaden. Trotzdem die Länge beachten! An den Seen bieten sich aber genügend Möglichkeiten zur Rast und zum Erfrischen, ev. auch zum Baden 
an.
Wer genügend Zeit und Ausdauer hat, der kann vom Schwarzensee weiter zur bewirtschafteten Leistalmhütte wandern und von dort ideal die Caches Salzsteigjoch (+ 2 Stunden / 200 Hm) oder Mir ist mein Ross entsprungen (+ 2 Stunden / 350 Hm) erreichen.

Wieder mal ein Wahnsinnsblick, den auch schon "Erzherzog Johann"(!) genoss. Finde den Tag des Datums (= E).
Wandere nun den etwas steileren Pfad zu den Hütten runter (oder gehe deinen gekommenen Weg kurz zurück auf die Schotterstraße. Auf dieser gelangst du links runter einfacher zu den Hütten).
Folge den Hütten entlang dem Wanderweg links um den Steirersee herum (auf der sog. Steirerseeleiten). Du erreichst darauf nach gut 2km, ohne nennenswerte Höhenmeter den 6. See, den Schwarzensee

Gehe am Rückweg an der Abzweigung links hinunter zum Ufer des Steirersees.
Finde später vom Weg aus einen ziemlich schmalen Pfad durch die Botanik zum Cache rauf, wo du blickgeschützt suchen kannst. Beachte auch das Spoilerfoto!

Maybe the most impressive spots at Tauplitzalm are their 6 alpine lakes. Crystal clear water and you can also swim in some of them. The large alp Tauplitzalm is the biggest highplateau with lakes in Middle Europe. Ideal for hiking along the 6 lakes and finding a Multicache - doing a CACHERing !

The trails are not very difficult. Everybody should be able to complete it. However, take care of the duration of the hike! But there are lots of places to pause and to enjoy the view at the beautiful surroundings .
If you have got enough time and fitness, you can go ahead from Schwarzensee to hut "Leistalmhütte" and visit 2 further caches: Salzsteigjoch (+ 2 hours / 200 altitude meters) or Mir ist mein Ross entsprungen (+ 2 hours / 350 altitude meters).

Again a very impressive view, which also enjoyed "Erzherzog Johann"(!) (=Archduke John of Austria) in the past. Look for the DAY of the matching date. (= E).
Now take the steep path down to the huts (or go back the way you came about 1 minute until you reach the road. Turn left and follow the road down to the huts which is easier than the steep path).
Follow the road along the huts and hike on the left side around Steirersee. After about 2 km you'll reach the 6th lake, Schwarzensee.

At the branch of the trail take the left path down to the waterside of Steirersee.
