Geocache Description:

ARRRRRRRGH! - THE SALTY DOG - This is a five stage treasure hunt that takes you to state game lands 119. The coords listed lead you to stage one. Each stage has coords to the next and a letter that you will need to figure out the four letter word to open the treasure chest lock. All coords are +/- 12 feet. A great cache for your little pirates and don't forget your four legged salty dog.

On a final note - a large portion of this land is managed by Pheasants Forever. They have done such a wonderful job here. I was unable to get their activity schedule for this area but I have seen them come out in hunting groups of 25+. Obviously, if you see them hunting here it's probably best to return another time. There is enough room for everyone to hunt here for game birds and treasure so let's all play nice.

Additionally, this is a prescribed burn area by DCNR so if you see smoke there is likely fire and that means "reschedule" your treasure hunt for another day. There is no printed schedule that I know of so you'll just have to wing it.
