K místu se vází mé vzpomínky na pionýrské turistické souteze, jejichz trasy nás tudy mnohokrát vedly. Místo lezí kousek nad lesíkem Borí, kterému je venována bonusová kes serie. Vede také tudy má oblíbená cyklistická trasa 5060, kterou v letním období pravidelne vyuzívám pri ceste z práce. Rovnez tudy obvykle vede nekterá RZ Barum Rally.
