Kätkö esittelee Köörtilän kalasataman
Täällä oli ennen aktiivinen kalasatama, Kiffeli. No on se satama vieläkin täällä mutta kalastustoimintaa ei ole. Mutta kaunis paikka tämä on ja täällä on veneenlaskupaikkakin jos vesille tekee mieli. Vanhoja rantahuoneitakin on vielä jäljellä.
Köörtilän kylän historia alkaa 1300 luvulta ja kylä on yksi Satakunnan sahatoiminnalla, laivanrakennuksella ja purjehduksella vaurastuneista rantakylistä.
There used to be an active fishing harbour called Kiffeli here. Well the harbour is here still but the fishing activity is gone. But the place is beautiful and there is also a ramp to launch one's boat into the sea. There are also some old storage buildings left.
The history of Köörtilä village starts from the 1300 century and the village is one example of villages which prospered from saw mill, shipyard and sailing related businesses.
