Cache Details
This cache is one in our "Coup d'oeil, SWAG FREE Series" (in other words Quick Find (sometimes) P&G Team Broughton Style - waterproof, decent size container, in a location we would not mind doing a simple cache at if we were traveling through the town!). Also to entice & lure ya to the area for our signature Zoar Valley & Franklin Gulf cache series!

Park Hours & Information
Right on the Seaway Trail, Bennett Beach is one of the best beaches on Lake Erie. Sad story though is this place has never seen its potential. The City of Buffalo owned it for years and really let it fall into bad shape. The County of Erie currently owns it and has done little to maximize the potential. Great spot for fishing though - picnics NOPE! The sand dunes here are great. My memories go back to the early 1970's. I spent many a summer right up the road and enjoyed the great sand beaches near here. Loved to body surf on windy days. Used to place baseball right near the cache hiding spot. Now it is just a field.
