Geocache Description:

La série Garraf Elemental va nèixer com un viatge a través de 4 indrets especials de la comarca del Garraf, 4 llocs que representen els elements que comformen el paisatge garrafenc. La serie ja no es troba activa, però podeu continuar buscant els catxés per separat.

De l'antic castell d'Olivella, documentat des de l'any 992 i d’estil romànic, se’n conserven només algunes restes dels murs, probablement del segle XI, que sembla que dibuixen una planta trapezoïdal. Al bell mig es conserva una torre rodona que al segle XVIII va ser transformada en molí, pel que la fortaleza ha adquirit el sobrenom de El Molinot o el Molí del Rector. El molí no es va acabar mai i es conta que les moles están abandonades una a la riera de Begues i l’altra a la serra dels Carlins.

Com arribar-hi: Podeu deixar el cotxe al municipi d’Olivella [WP]. Seguint la carretera cap a Sant Pere de Ribes, de seguida trobareu a la dreta l’inici del PR-C37 [WP] direcció Cal Muntaner (també podeu deixar el cotxe aquí, al costat del camí), i seguint les indicacions en les fites, trobarem el sender que puja cap al Castell Vell, passant pel Barret del Rector (escultura natural formada per 4 pedres)

el Safareig (bassa per rentar)
[WP],

per finalment enfilar un altre sender cap a l'antiga Esglèsia de Sant Pere (en runes), i el Castell Vell (dalt de tot del turó).

Caché: La localització del caché és força assequible per a infants amb bona observació. Siusplau torneu a amagar-lo amb cura tapant-lo i protegint-lo de la mateixa manera.

Color i element: Tot i que la sèrie Garraf Elemental ja no és activa, aquest catxé representava l'element VENT i era de color rosa, elements necessaris per trobar el mistery Garraf Elemental #0.

Del antiguo castillo de Olivella, documentado desde el año 992 de estilo románico, se conservan sólo algunos restos de los muros, probablemente del siglo XI, que parece que dibujan una planta trapezoidal. En el centro se conserva una torre redonda que en el siglo XVIII fue transformada en molino, por lo que la fortaleza ha adquirido el sobrenombre de El Molinot o el Molino del Rector. El molino no se terminó nunca y se cuenta que las muelas están abandonadas una en la riera de Begues y otra en la sierra de los Carlins.
Cómo llegar: Puede dejar el coche en el municipio de Olivella [WP]. Siguiendo la carretera hacia Sant Pere de Ribes, enseguida encontrarà a la derecha al inicio del PR-C37 [WP] dirección Cal Muntaner (también se puede dejar el coche junto a este camino), y siguiendo las indicaciones en los postes, encontrarà el sendero que sube hacia el Castell Vell, pasando por el Barret del Rector o Sombrero del Rector (escultura natural formada por 4 piedras)[WP], y el Safareig (balsa para lavar) [WP], para luego torcer por un pequeño sendero hacia la Iglesia de San Pedro (en ruinas), y finalmente el Castell Vell (en la cima).
Caché: La localización del caché es bastante asequible para niños con buena observación. Por favor volver a colocar todo con cuidado.
Color y elemento: La serie Garraf Elemental ya no està activa. Este caché representaba al elemento VIENTO y era de color rosa.
Rutas sugeridas: Desde Olivella salen muchas pistas y caminos hacia Sitges, Sant Pere de Ribes, Jafre, y el Parque Natural del Garraf que puede aprovechar para localizar otros geoescondites del Garraf (a pie o en bicicleta). The Castell Vell (Old Castle) of Olivella, documented since 992 and style Romanesque remains are preserved only some of the walls, probably of the eleventh century, which seems to draw a trapezoidal. In the middle of a round tower that is preserved in the eighteenth century was transformed into a mill, so the fortress has acquired the nickname The Molinot or The Priest’s Mill. The mill never was finished and probably the wheels were abandoned in the stream of Begues and in Carlins hills.
Getting there: You can park your car in the town of Olivella [WP]. Following the road to Sant Pere de Ribes, immediately to the right the beginning of the PR-C37 [WP] direction Can Muntaner (you can park also at the beggining of this path), and following the directions on the goals, find the path that leads to the Castell Vell and El Barret del Rector (the hat of the priest) (a natural stone sculpture) [WP], following to El Safareig (a washing pond) [WP], and finally take a little path to St. Peter's Church (in ruins), and reach the castle in the top of the hill.
Cache: The cache location is availible for children with good observation. Please retourn the stones on his position with care.
Color and Item: The Garraf Elementary series is not active at the moment, but this cache represented the element WIND and the color pink.
Suggested routes: In Olivella starts many tracks and paths to Sitges Sant Pere de Ribes, Jafre and the Garraf Natural Park which can be used to locate other geocaching places in Garraf (on foot or bicycle).
