Edith Point is a narrow peninsula on Mayne Island extending nearly 2km into the Salish Sea, with the Straight of Georgia to the north and Campbell Bay to the south. It is actually private property, but the owners generously allow hikers to walk the trails, although no powered vehicles are allowed. At a moderate pace it takes about an hour to walk the peninsula, round trip.
The cache is located about 2/3 of the way along the peninsula, on the Campbell Bay side. It is an ammo can containing various trinkets, a log book, and a pen. It is not an easy find, but is also not super difficult. The area doesn't see much foot traffic so it is very unlikely to be muggled - don't give up, you will find it!
FTF honours go out to "Who'sagoodboy?". It's a special FTF because it was Who'sagoodboy's first geocache find ever! Congrats. Enjoy the views from Edith Point!
