View of the W ... a short bushwhack off the Rincon spur trail
This cache is placed to celebrate my finding of "The W" I have only
been caching for a few months and shortly after I started I
stumbled onto the Deep Southwest Geocaching Project. At the time
the "w" was the highest point cache in the Sandias and I wanted it
badly. LibDocAbq and his buddy knocked it down in point total but
it remained my holy grail of caches. As I got closer and closer to
my goal the scarier and scarier it became but I screwed up my
courage and took that first big step onto the knife edge. before I
knew it I had the cache in hand and was working my way back down.
As I placed this celebration cache and gazed back up at the "w" the
thought that was foremost in my mind was ....... WHAT THE HELL WAS
I THINKING GOING UP THERE!!!! Ftf prize is a cell phone drybox with
log ready to be placed.
