Ridgmont Water Tower
This unused Tower has been given a grade II listing by English Heritage !
Circa 1913 built by C Balfour & Sons,civil engineers.It was built as part of the Duke of Bedfords Estates.Not the prettiest as its made of reinforced concrete and it is not known if it was ever used once completed.
The cache is in good view of the tower but no more than a pace off the footpath.
After this cache was given a hair cut by my friendly farmer i have slightly increased its size to a small (you guessed it)clicklock box !
