Geocache Description:

This isn't Winnie-the-Pooh's Hundred-Acre Wood, but he'd be fooled if he looked for this cache. No honey, but a little treasure awaits in this bear-themed cache.

Located in one of the area's little-known suburban passageways between streets, would-be Christopher Robins will need to bring rain boots on damp days, in winter, or after a rain. "Bother!", as Pooh would say. Access may be very difficult in winter and springtime with rising water levels, but consistently available in drier conditions, and the terrain difficulty rating reflects this.

Bring a small bear-, Pooh-related or other cache-trade item suitable for children of all ages.

NO poisonous or irritating plant or insect hazards at cache site, but be mindful of blackberries in the vicinity.

Available at all hours, but be mindful especially after dark as the immediate area is a Neighborhood Watch community. Please be respectful of residents and choose parking with care to avoid blocking driveways. Silence is golden.

If muggled, please view it as a Teachable Moment and show the best of the geocaching community spirit through respect and education.

Pooh Trivia: How did the A.A. Milne character come by his name? In the first chapter of _Winnie-the-Pooh_, the author says, "But his arms were so stiff ... they stayed up straight in the air for more than a week, and whenever a fly came and settled on his nose he had to blow it off. And I think — but I am not sure — that that is why he is always called Pooh."
