Part of a circular walk of just over 2.5 miles over permissive paths, public footpaths, bridle ways and pavements. There are two stretches where walking along short stretches of quiet roads is required, if walking the whole series.
Parking is available on-street in Mapperley village, or at a number of good sized pull-ins around the circuit. Wherever you park, please do not cause an obstruction; although the roads are generally quiet, there is an occasional bus service (M-Sa) on the roads involved.
If starting from the village, walk out approx. 400m. west along the road. The first half of this has pavements, take care after that, although the road is straight and usually quiet.
Before or after caching, there is a recreation ground and very well appointed play-area, with picnic benches, along this stretch (Waypoint added below)
This cache is a small camo'd container near to a kissing gate.
