This cache is hidden in a small nature area that is privately owned but is open to the public. Parking is available on the street near the nature area entrance. From the entrance to the cache is less than 25 yards.
There are 20 trees with interpretive signage and a small goldfish/Koi pond in the nature area. Because of the tree canopy it might be hard to get an accurate GPS reading; when you find the Liriodendron tulipifera you are close. The cache is a small metal container with assorted trinkets that kids should like. There is also a small play area for kids. If you see the landowner out working in the yard, ask if the fish have been fed. If they haven't he will let the kids feed the fish. On October 31, this nature area is transformed into the Haunted Forest for the trick-or-treaters! First-to-find honors go to PFF and the Moncure Bee Dude. They both found it about 15 minutes after the initial posting. You are welcome to wander across the driveway and visit the native fish pond, waterfall and island. There is also a Little Free Library near the geocache.
