Skookum Bridge Traditional Geocache

This cache is located on the Treadwell Ditch trail near where it crosses Lawson Creek. A new bridge was installed by Trail Mix in 2010.
The Ditch trail can be accessed by either parking near the Gastineau Meadows or at the top of Blueberry Hills.
The container is a large bison and should not be hard to find once you get on the trail and hike in.
Trail Mix, a local non-profit that works to maintain trails in the Juneau area is planning more maintenance along the Treadwell Ditch. They sometimes hold volunteer work parties to help get the job done. I volunteered last fall.
I think there is a stubby pencil in the cache, but bring a pen/pencil just in case. No room for items other than the log.
