This series places hidden packages in locations that are great for viewing the stars on a clear night. The caches are designed to be found by torch light but are still well hidden. In each cache is a logbook, pencil, room for small items AND an interesting fact or comment about the cosmos designed to spark the imagination!
All the caches are located near places where a car can be safely parked and for day-cachers provides a great “cache-and-dash” opportunity. The roads are generally quite quiet and the cache is a small black plastic circular container that is quite reflective.
This series is designed not only to get you hunting in nice rural spots but to get people asking the big questions. In a universe so vast, life must exist and one day we will explore and colonise planets beyond our solar system. But what is it really like out there?
This site is great for overlooking the second city without too much light pollution
