Français : La récente éruption du volcan Islandais Grimsvoetn à mis en évidence un site archéologique Viking. D'après les premières informations, il s'agirait d'un village d'explorateurs qui auraient visité l'Europe au Xème siècle et semé la terreur sur leur passage : les nombreux objets d'Europe occidentale en atteste.
Mikael Blomkvist et Lisbeth Salander, les deux archéologues de l'université de Bergen en Suède ont notamment découvert une curieuse pierre runique en vieux norrois qui relate les aventures de trois drakkars dont un fit naufrage sur un fleuve tumultueux. Ne pouvant rapporter l'intégralité de leur butin, ils ont caché une partie du trésor à proximité du lieu du naufrage afin de pouvoir le récupérer en drive-in...
Les archéologues ont réussi à convertir le système de localisation originel en coordonnées GPS. Mais afin qu'il n'y ait pas de pillage sur les lieux, ils ont publié ces informations en utilisant des codes secrets. Mikael décida de localiser l'épave du navire et Lisbeth indiqua où se rendirent les Vikings pour cacher leur trésor :

Archaeologists were able to convert the original location system by GPS. But to avoid the plunders at the scene, they released this information by using secret codes. Mikael decided to locate the wreck and Lisbeth indicates where the Vikings went to hide their treasure. :
