What do
you do after making geoart? Lay in a power trail to the geoart of
course! "This will be easy; nothing to it," we thought smugly. The
wind was blowing so hard when the first ten caches were laid that
when I opened the door to Yukon Cacher, I was pulled out of the
car.
We're not sure why this area was called Coffee Point but it seems
to be an excellent theme for a cache series. If you would like to
add to the series or your favorite coffee isn't represented, just
let us know so we can give you some numbers to extend the trail
further.
A four wheel drive or high clearance vehicle is highly recommended
for access to these caches. The caches are located close to the
dirt road so use the conveyance of your choice. Just don't go off
the road with a vehicle to get the cache.
Please don't head out to this area if it is raining or wet as, at
best, you'll tear up the road and, at worst, you'll get stuck. If
you're smart, you will only use four wheel drive to get out of the
desert if it starts raining or leave before it rains if you do not
have a four wheel drive. I'd highly recommend waiting for the snow
to melt before trying for this series of caches.
The terrain rating is for the road if it gets wet.
These caches were not intended to contain trade items. They are
also not there so you can cache swap or leap frog to complete the
series faster.
