Geocache Description:

Another nice easy find close to home along our favourite scooter trail!

The Olympic Torch Run Legacy Trail opened December 12, 2009. It was named to commemorate the official Olympic Torch Run which took place in Niagara Falls on December 20, 2009.
The 1.3 kilometer paved trail, travels along the former Canadian Pacific Railway corridor, which was sold to the city in 2001. It starts at Queen Street, travels along Palmer Avenue and ends at the Newman Hill bridge overpass.
The cache is named after our school song "Simcoe, Simcoe is the school for me" and is placed where the trail (formerly railway) cuts Simcoe Street in two.
