vwcampervan: Archiving at the reviewer's request. Lovely churchyard, but unreliable cache location, and no suitable alternative - shame:(
Thank you to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

A church micro for St.John’s Moordown, as suggested by St. John of Dorset (AKA DorsetJohn!)

This beautiful church was built in 1874, and is located on the main Wimborne rd, in the heart of Moordown. It participates in the Living Churchyard Project - “caring for churchyards with wildlife in mind”. (More than 6,000 British churchyards are now managed as sacred sanctuaries for wild flowers, birds, bats, reptiles and insects.)
Parts of the churchyard are therefore left to nature. Have a wander round and answer the questions given below.

Parking (free for 1 hour) can be found at the listed co-ordinates, in Vicarage rd,

1. Private William Barnes A53BC.

2. Pair of graves for members of the Gollop family. Number of letters in the featured flower = D.

3. Number of Flowers = E

4. Grave of family with the name of a local Dorset town. Age of the son who died abroad in 1917 = FG

The cache location is:

N 50° D G. (C-B-A) (E-F-A) (C+F)

W 001° G F. B E A

The check sum for all the individual co-ordinates (both given and calculated) = 41

The graveyard is a little uneven in places, and the cache is located close by, on level tarmac. Please bring pen and paper.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.

There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list

CONGRATULATIONS TO DORSETJOHN FOR FTF (VERY FITTING!)
