A simple memorial cache remembering the events of September 11th.
This cache is designed to pay tribute to the lives lost on 9/11 and to remember the sacrifice paid by those to defend freedom.
The items in the cache are NOT meant to be traded. Instead, if you would like to, please leave items to pay tribute to the lives lost on that day.

I was stationed at Fort Stewart, GA as an combat engineer platoon leader. We were in the motor pool working on our vehicles when we heard on the radio about the first plane. We assumed it was a small plane accident. When we go word that a second plane had hit we knew something was wrong. The base was quickly locked down and we got ready to deploy to go after who ever had done this.
