A CACHE
Caminho dos Moinhos, Caminho da Boca da Mata e Caminho do Rio Velho, são alguns dos caminhos que percorrem esta bonita região, que tiveram oportunidade de conhecer, na proximidade da Aldeia do Penedo, ponto central deste Power Trail.
Mas agora estão a sair da zona habitada, de volta aos trilhos da Serra e, durante os próximos quilómetros, serão os pinheiros e outros exemplares da flora e fauna do “Monte da Lua” a vossa companhia. Nos próximos 4,5 Km vão continuar a subir. São 270 metros de desnível mas feitos quase sempre à sombra do arvoredo...
A cache, junto ao caminho e num local de boa recepção do GPS, não criará dificuldades.
OLD RIVER ROAD
Mills Road, Boca da Mata Road and Old River Road, are only a few of the paths that cross this beautiful region and which you had the opportunity to pass, on your way to and from the nearby village of Penedo, middle point of this Power Trail.
But now you are leaving behind the inhabited area and returning to the Sintra forest tracks and for the coming miles, you will have the pines and other representatives of the "Moon Hill" flora´s and fauna’s for company. Over the next 2,8 miles you will continue to climb. It’s an ascent of 300 yards but most of the time under the shade of the trees...
The cache, located by the path’s side and in a place of good GPS reception, won’t put you in any kind of trouble.
