New Hampshire Month-by-Month Challenge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In addition to the "needs maintenance" logs and DNF logs, Goundspeak also uses a Health Score algorithm. https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

The Background
I am currently working on completing the 'Massachusetts Month-by-month' challenge (GC2KN9X). As of May 2011, I still need to find 38/127, but will get there eventually, although each month adds an additional cache to find! I was wondering if there was a similar cache in New Hampshire, and as far as I can tell, there isn't. I contacted 'Loch Cache', the owner of the MA challenge and he has given me permission to copy his idea and put one out for NH :-). I have checked my stats, and it appears I have only 9 left (as of now) to find for NH, but I would imagine there are cachers who have already completed this one!

The Challenge
The challenge is to find at least one cache that was PLACED in every month from the start of geocaching in New Hampshire (October 2000) until the month in which you log the cache. (as of May 2011, this is 124 caches). There are also a number of 'Jasmer' challenges ie GC1GBC1 around that require a cache to be found for every month from May 2000. If you complete the NH only version, you will only be short 9 caches to complete any of these!!

The Rules
  • Find a cache IN NEW HAMPSHIRE that was placed in each month since October 2000, up to and including the month that the cache is logged.
  • There are no active caches in NH that were placed in November and December 2000 or January and March 2001 so these months may be ommitted.
  • All cache types count.
  • When logging the cache, you must provide evidence of having found all the caches. This could be a public bookmark of the caches or a list in the log of at least the GC# for each cache found in each month.
There is a macro for gsak called MonthlyCoverage.gsk (thanks to Team Bullis for pointing this out) that can help with checking progress. You can't choose the state within the macro and you must use a database called 'found' to run it against, so I'm guessing the best way to use it is to filter NH finds only and copy them to a new database called found so it only contains NH finds and then run the macro. :-)

The puzzle
Finding the coordinates is the easy part - simply add the number of months in a year to both the north and the west coordinates. To log the cache though, the challenge should be completed..... pre-signing the log if you are in the area is fine, but if doing so, in the spirit of the challenge, please make your log a note and complete the challenge before turning it into a smilie. :-)
The difficulty of the hide is due to the requirments for logging - the hide is relatively easy :-)

Happy Caching!
