A CACHE
Depois de quase 8 km por estradas de terra mas que, provavelmente, terão a todos parecido bastantes mais, o Power Trail utiliza agora a estrada alcatroada que desce para a localidade do Penedo, a única que será visitada ao longo deste passeio.
Aqui, tanto de um lado como do outro, encontram-se belas quintas recheadas de vegetação luxuriante tão característica desta vertente da Serra e que são possíveis de serem vislumbradas, quer por cima dos muros ou através das vedações que as rodeiam...
O nome da cache deriva do arvoredo, pertencente a uma destas quintas que se encontra protegida por uma vedação, do lado direito da estrada... mas não tanto que impedisse a colocação de uma cache, devidamente escondida. A dica ajudará.
PRIVATE FOREST
After almost 8 km of hiking on dirt roads but that, probably, seemed much more to all of you, the Power Trail follows now along a paved road that goes all the way down to Penedo, the only settlement to be visited during this tour.
Here, on both sides, are several fine farms, filled with the lush vegetation that characterizes this part of the Mountain, and that can be sighted viewed over the walls or through the fences that surround them...
The cache owns its name to the woods belonging to one of these farms, protected by a fence on the right side of the road ... but without hindering the placement of a cache, suitably hidden. The hint will help.
