A CACHE
Embora não estejam referenciados como fazendo parte da principal fauna desta serra, os esquilos, na sua variedade arborícola, (a mais numerosa), dão o nome a esta cache.
Fazendo jus a essa característica, os esquilos arborícolas passam a maior parte do seu tempo nas copas das árvores, por aí se sentirem seguros de predadores terrestres... embora por vezes se deixem avistar no solo das florestas, mas sempre prontos a subir à árvore mais próxima ao primeiro sinal de ameaça...
Para fazer esta cache terão de se colocar na pele destes simpáticos animais e procurar a toca onde um deles se poderia refugiar.
SQUIRREL’s LAIR
Although not counted as part of the main fauna of this mountain, squirrels in its arboreal variety, (the most numerous), give this cache it’s name.
Doing justice to this behavior, arboreal squirrels spend most of their time in the trees, where they feel safe from land predators... even if sometimes allowing themselves to be seen on the forest soil, but always ready to climb the nearest tree, at the first sign of threat.
To find this cache you must think as one of these nice animals and look for hiding places, which it could use to escape.
