Invito alla 'Riserva di Paluaccio'
L'Alta Valtellina è una terra ricca di testimonianze storiche e può
essere vissuta come una straordinaria avventura artistica e
culturale visitando i suoi stupendi centri storici, le dimore
rurali e gli insediamenti archeologici, le torri, le chiese ed i
castelli, segni di altri tempi che col passare degli anni hanno
mantenuto il loro fascino.
La "Riserva Naturalistica del Paluaccio di Oga" è stata istituita
dalla Regione Lombardia con la Legge regionale del 30 Novembre 1983
con lo scopo di proteggere e preservare un'area di oltre 30
ettari.
Il nome della riserva deriva dalla torbiera, facilmente accessibile
a piedi dal parcheggio, caratterizzata non solo dalla presenza di
alcune speci in via di estinzione, ma da numerosi aspetti che sono
piuttosto inconsueti per le regioni alpestre. Come tutte le
torbiere la sua importanza viene accresciuta dall'elevato numero di
informazioni che racchiude.
All'interno della riserva è anche presente il "Forte Oga"
(conosciuto anche come "Forte Venini" o "Forte Dossaccio"),
facilmente raggiungibile a piedi passando per un ponte in pietra a
tre arcate con contrafforti, realizzato dal genio militare.
Questo cache è considerato un invito non solo per la Riserva
Naturalistica che merita una visita, ma anche perchè dopo averlo
trovato, potete dirigervi a cercare sia il cache

Invitation to the 'Riserva di Paluaccio'
Alta Valtellina is a land rich in history. It can be seen as an
extraordinary adventure arts and culture by visiting its beautiful
old towns, the rural dwellings and archaeological sites, the
towers, the churches and the castles. They are all signs of past
that over the years have retained their charm.
The "Riserva Naturalistica del Paluaccio di Oga" has been
established by the Lombardy Region with the Regional Law dated
November 30th 1983, with the aim of protecting and preserving an
area of 30 hectares.
The name of the reserve comes from the bog, which is easily
accessible by foot from the parking lot, which is characterized not
only by the presence of some endangered species, but also because
it has some aspects that are quite unusual for the alpine regions.
Like all bogs its importance is enhanced by the large number of
information it contains.
Within the reserve there is also the "Fort Oga" (also known as
"Fort Venini" or "Fort Dossaccio), easily reachable on foot passing
through a stone bridge with three arches with buttresses, built by
military engineers.
This cache is considered not only an invitation to visit the
"Riserva Naturale" but also because, after you have found it, you
can go to look for the cache
