Não é um tronco qualquer! Este pertenceu a uma árvore de grande porte, majestosa na sua maturidade, mas que a uma distância temporal, difícil de determinar, terá sofrido um acidente..., talvez o grande incêndio de 1966 ou queda de um raio, quem sabe... pelo que agora apenas permanece, dessa grandeza original, um toco apodrecido e coberto por heras.
A cache aproveita este marco natural, junto à estrada alcatroada e que indica o caminho a seguir...
BIG TRUNK
It´s not your everyday trunk! This one, belonged once to a large tree, majestic in its maturity but that, in some distant past, difficult to determine with precision, must have suffered an accident ... maybe the great Sintra forest fire of 1966, or a lightning strike, who knows?
Today, from the original magnificence, only an ivy covered piece of wood remains.
The cache takes advantage of this natural landmark near the tarmac road, that points to the way forward...
