L'entreprise Mabille spécialisée en fabrication de matériel agricole a été fondée par Jacques-Emmanuel Mabille en 1835. Vers 1850-1860, ses deux fils, Emmanuel et Ernest, ont développé de nouveaux produits, notamment des pressoirs pré-assemblés. En 1865, ils ont déposé un brevet pour leur appareil de serrage à cliquet dit "appareil universel". Celui-ci leur a assuré un succès national et international. Dans la ruelle, sur votre gauche, vous pouvez apercevoir un long bâtiment industriel : l'ancienne fabrique de pressoirs.

Mabille is a company than specialises in the manufacture of farming equipment by Jacques-Emmanuel Mabille in 1835. In 1850-1860, his two sons, Emmanuel and Ernest, developed a range of new-products, in particular pre-assembled presses. In 1865 they filed a patent for their catch-fastening device called a "universal device", which bought them national and international success. In the little street on your left, you can see a long industrial building : the old press factory.
