Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Pub 2 Pub series, and has been set by Mrs Gaggle.

A nice gentle walk from one nice pub to another, winding its way through some paddocks, fields and a small wooded area.

Suitable for kids (mine enjoy seeing the horses, ponies, cows, rabbits etc.) but there are some fairly hefty stiles to contend with.

The path is well marked throughout.

Pub 2 Pub distance is approximately 2 miles.

Additionally this cache is part of the Church Micro Series.

Cache is a 35mm film canister, as such there is no room for swaps or a pen.

Caches in this series:

GC2W78A: Pub 2 Pub – Princess Box (includes waypoints)

GC2W7AY: Pub 2 Pub – Car Box

GC2W7BQ: Pub 2 Pub – Football Box

GC2W7CW: Pub 2 Pub/Borden Church Micro

Borden Church stands in the centre of the village at the top end of The Street. The church is a Norman flint building, with later Gothic additions, most of which was constructed during the 12th and 13th centuries. It is believed that the site may have been used for a church even earlier. The church was originally a gift from Simon, son of Peter de Borden, confirmed by King John in 1205. The current building has therefore witnessed at least eight centuries as the focal point of the village.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
