Geocache Description:

Park by the "Program Site 63" signpost near the intersection of ASP Rte. 1 and France Brook Road. Follow the fire tacks to the cache. There is a turn to the left as you approach the cache. The turn will be marked with double tacks. The cache will be marked with a gold tack.

For many years the park naturalist staff offered a walk after dark for the purpose of calling owls. This off-beat night cache will offer you the chance to do the same. The cache container is a 30-caliber ammo can. Inside you will find a tape recorder with a tape of owl calls along with some trade items and a logbook. Try to call an owl by playing the tape. When you log your cache, let us know if you were successful. Be sure to rewind the tape and please leave the tape recorder in the ammo can! Cache placed with permission.
