Another way to protect the natural resources is to prepare and plan ahead for your trip. Check the weather and trail maps to be sure you know what you’re in for on your adventure. And respect the wildlife of the area. Many plants and animals call Latta Nature Preserve home. We can help them thrive by leaving the flowers to grow, keeping human food from the animals, and packing out everything we bring in to the woods.
