A New Leaf Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Royal Oak: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it. It is not normal to unarchive a cache, which has been archived due to a lack of maintenance.

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

There are three directions from which you can reach this cache, non are pushchair/wheel chair friendly.

If you travel by car then you can park for a short while in a layby on Dolly Lane, the cache is located approx .13 miles away. The public footpath down to the cache from here is fairly steep and uneven, there are also a couple of styles and approx twenty steps to go down.

The other two footpath lead from Ladypit lane or Waterside.

This is the third cache we have placed along the footpath that leads from the Peak Forest Canal to Gowhole, an alternative walk from the canal tow path through the valley. The cache is located near to the style that leads to a tunnel under the railway line.

The cache is a micro it contains a log sheet and tiny pencil, it is very well camouflaged.
