Kostel sv. Jakuba v Zápech Dominantou Záp je krásný, pozdne barokní kostel sv. Jakuba Vetšího. Pravdepodobne je postaven podle puvodního návrhu slavného architekta K. I. Dienzenhofera a realizován stejným stavitelem, jako kostel v nedalekých Svémyslicích.V prucelí, nad hlavním vchodem je socha svetce Jakuba. Vnitrek kostela je moc pekný a stojí za prohlídku, bohužel je ale kostel otevrený jen pri mších, které se konají pouze jednou do mesíce (vždy první nedeli v mesíci). Pri mši si mužete poslechnout i vcelku kvalitní varhany. Za komunizmu byl kostel zavrený a jen pustl. Po Sametové revoluci byly provedeny aspon nejnutnejší opravy, ze sbírek byla vyspravena okna, byla opravena strecha. Nicméne – jak už to bývá, kostel by si zasloužil celkovou rekonstrukci. Ke kostelu vede krásné pískovcové schodište. Schody jsou již notne ošlapané, stupne byly pri rekonstrukci již nekolikrát otocené. Pískovec nicméne neodmyslitelne k Zápum patrí: najdete tu z nej nejen schody, podezdívky, ale i sochy, lavicky. Není divu – v Zápech byl kdysi pískovcový lom. Možná se práve odtud dodával i pískovec na stavbu Karlova mostu v Praze. Na hrbitove, uprostred kterého kostel stojí, se již nekolik desetilení nepohrbívá, je ale hezky upravený a je otevrený trvale. Ke kostelu patrí samostatná kamenná zvonice, asi z 16. století, a zajímavá márnice, která se nachází v severovýchodním rohu hrbitova. Pravdepodobne byla postavena zároven s kostelem a soudí se, že i architekt byl týž. Pro nalezení keše budete potrebovat na míste zjistit nekolik indicií. Návšteva interiéru kostela není nutná, ale pomuže. Pokud se rozhodnete kostel behem mše navštívit, urcite potešíte místní farníky, když rozšíríte jejich prorídlé rady a mše se zúcastníte, ale prosím, prohlídce kostela se venujte jen pred nebo po mši svaté. 1. Jeden z nejstarších náhrobku na hrbitove ve tvaru srdce pochází z roku ABCD. Dobre si prectete, co je na nem napsáno, bude se vám to hodit. 2. V kterém císle popisném (EF) bydlela Ruža Zárubová? Až to zjistíte, snadno vypocítáte souradnice: N50°09.(E+F)(C+F)(D-C) E014°41.(B-F)(B)(A+F) A že tam nic není? Opravdu! Ale je to hezké místo že? Naštestí má toto místo své dvojce, kde – na stejném míste, které vám ukázala vaše GPSka tady – treba neco najdete. Nachází se smerem: na východ, je-li atributem svetce, kterému je kostel zasvecen, hvezda, na západ, je-li to vcelí úl, na sever, jde-li o mušli, na jih, má-li svatý Jakub srp. Vzdálenost dvojcete zjistíte snadno: stací odecíst rímská císla, která naleznete v predposledním a posledním slove náhrobku, který jste museli u kostela najít. Výsledek je v metrech. Štastnou cestu. Pozor, všechna místa jsou prístupná i v noci, ale druhou indicii potme nenajdete. Pro prvních deset je pripraven obrázek sv. Jakuba. English Church of St. James in Zápy The baroque church of St. James the Greater is a beautiful dominant of Zápy. The author of the project was probably famous architect K. I. Dienzenhofer. The church was built by the same builder as the church in Svémyslice, not far from Zápy. Above the main entrance of the church is a statue of St. James. The interior of the church is worth of seeing, however, the church is opened only during the holy masses, which are only once in a month (the first Sunday each month). You can listen to the organ during the mass. During the communism, the church was closed and slowly went to ruin. After Velvet Revolution, at least necessary repairs were performed and thanks to charity collection, windows and roof was repaired. Nevertheless, the church would deserve complete reconstruction. Nice sandstone stairs will take you to the church. The steps are worn out and were several times turned. But sandstone is inseparably connected to Zápy: you will find here not only stairs, foundation walls, but also statues and benches. No wonder – in Zápy used to be a sandstone quarry. It might be possible, that some sandstone blocks used to build the Charles Bridge in Prague were from here. The cemetery around the church is not used anymore, but it is neat and tidy and it is opened year round. There is also a stone bell tower nearby, probably from the 16th century, and an interesting mortuary built at the same time as the church and probably also designed by Diezenhofer. To find the cache, you will need some information. You do not need to go inside the church, but the visit would help. If you decide to visit the church during the mass, surely parishioners will be pleased, if you join their ranks. But please, do not take a tour through the church during the mass, leave it for the time before or after the mass. 1. One of the oldest tombstones in a shape of a heart is from the year ABCD. Read carefully, what is written on it, you will need it later. 2. Find out the street number (EF), where Ruža Zárubová lived. Once you find these numbers, you will easily calculate the coordinates: N50°09.(E+F)(C+F)(D-C) E014°41.(B-F)(B)(A+F) Oops! You have found nothing there? But it is a nice place, isn't it? Luckily, this place has its twin almost indistinguishable, and there you might be lucky. Just find it and search at the same place, which your GPS showed you here. The twin lies to the east, if the attribute of the St. James is a star, to the west, if it is a beehive, to the north, if it is a shell, to the south, if it is a sickle. And how far it is? Just deduct the Roman numerals, which you find in the last and last but one words of the epitaph engraved in the old tombstone, which you have already found. The result is in meters. Good luck!
