Allegan County Township Challenge Mystery Cache

As geocachers, we love Challenge Caches. They give us a goal towards which we diligently work. The simple act of looking for a cache is a challenge in itself; it's why we do what we do. And what better way to celebrate our accomplishments as a caching community than with even more caches which require something extra from us?

To qualify for and be able to log a find on this challenge cache you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have found a minimum of 1 physical cache in each of Allegan County's 24 Townships.
  
  1. All caches must have a physical container/logbook to sign.
  2. The posted coordinates of the caches will be used in determining it's location within a township.
  3. There is a link to the right of a KMZ file (open in Google Earth) that shows the boundaries of Allegan County's Townships. This will be used for verification of finds.
  4. If you do not wish to list all of your qualifying caches in your log, you may email us a My Finds Pocket Query for us to verify.
  
  
• Provide proof that you meet the qualifications. You may do this any one of three ways: a public bookmark list of your qualifying cache finds, reference to or screenshot of your profile (if applicable to the challenge), or a list of qualifying caches in a note or found log.

  • If you choose to list the qualifying caches in your online log, you must provide the GC code, the title of the cache, and the date you found it.
  • Please post proof of your qualifications within 48 hours of logging a find.
• You may feel free to sign your name on this cache even if you have yet to qualify. However, as we do maintenance or replace lost/muggled caches, we will audit the cache logs. We generally give cachers the benefit of the doubt, but if your name is not present on the logsheet at the time of your "found it" log, your log may be deleted.
