Geocache Description:

The second in a series of caches dedicated to old and possibly forgotten bridges in the Baulkham Hills Shire.

The old girder bridge (known as a Bailey Bridge) that used to connect Hazletts Road and Acres Road Kellyville has been closed for over 10 years as far as I can remember. I used to nick across on my push-bike as a short cut.

Information on the bridge is a little difficult. The only information I could gather from the internet related to a nearby pedestrian suspension bridge!

The area now includes a small nearby playground and a path down to the Smalls Creek weir, which is quite interesting.

Sadly the old bridge has been replaced by a terribly boring and safe modern bridge, with none of the old nooks and crannies in rotten timbers or rusted girders that were previously available

If you don't want to go straight to the hint, think about the famous hit from Stealers Wheel.

Please NOTE there is no need to go under the bridge.

Please bring a pencil.
