Geocache Description:

This is number ten in a series celebrating "The Doctor" and his travels through time & space in his TARDIS. Look for the 10th Doctor's little blue box. Due to the difficulties with travel through time & space this series will not be posted in chronological order.

A Wherigo Cache based loosely on BBC's Dr. Who Series. This cache represents the Tenth Doctor in Season 3 after the Episodes 5 & 6 "Daleks in Manhattan" and "Evolution of the Daleks".

This Wherigo starts at the parking lot where you can leave your TARDIS. Visit GC18DXY Little Green Men traditional cache and then follow your favorite Doctor on a Wherigo tour around the park before finding this final cache.

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme depicts the adventures of a mysterious and eccentric Time Lord known as the Doctor who travels through time and space in his time machine, the TARDIS (an acronym for Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space), which normally appears from the exterior to be a blue 1950s British police box. With his companions, he explores time and space, faces a variety of foes and saves civilizations, helping people and righting wrongs. The programme is listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running science fiction television show in the world.

Within the series' narrative, the Doctor is a centuries-old alien, a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, who travels in time and space in his TARDIS, frequently with companions. When the Doctor is critically injured, he can regenerate his body but in doing so gains a new physical appearance and with it, a distinct new personality. David Tennant portrayed the Tenth Doctor from 2005 to 2010. The Tenth Doctor generally displays a light-hearted, talkative, easy-going, witty and cheeky manner, but repeatedly demonstrates a vengeful and unforgiving streak as well. The Tenth Doctor has a tendency to babble, mixing apparent nonsense with vital information, sometimes acting erratically to put his enemies off guard. He is prone to making comments that to outsiders seem obtuse or rude, sometimes to his own embarrassment.

The Tenth Doctor is more extroverted and gregarious then his predecessor, quickly establishing a firmer rapport with Rose Tyler's friends and family than he ever did in his previous incarnation. He is openly fond of mankind and is apparently in awe of their tenacity and curiosity.

"Allons-y" - the Tenth Doctor

As always be on the look out for Daleks, Cyberman, Autons, the Master, Sontarans, Silurians, Slitheen, Ood, Judoon, Weeping Angels and the occasional Muggle.

This cache is part of the Doctor Who Series of caches.

Once you have found at least two of the 12 caches, located throughout the United States and Canada, you can locate the bonus cache, Doctor Who Series: Finale (GC2R1VF). The coordinates for the bonus cache can be found in the Doctor's TARDIS (any of the 12 caches in the series) - just look under the lid.

  • Odd numbered Doctors have the Latitude.
  • Even numbered Doctors have the Longitude.

As caches containing coordinates are published they will be listed here. If you get an error you are attempting to access a cache at the wrong spot in the space/time continuum- just be be patient and allow time to pass until you reach the correct period in the timeline, or adjust your vortex manipulator appropriately.

There will be three opportunities to get a coveted FTF prize- To begin with be first to find and log this cache. Second chance be furthest to find- or whoever finds the two Dr. Who caches that are the furthest apart in time & space within a year of the last (12th) doctor's cache being published and returning here to log this cache. Finally the first person to log all twelve Dr. Who caches and the bonus cache.

Congrats to mbomber33 and *Jeremy* for the First to Find.
