This is an 'accidental' cache!
We took a spare out to replace one that had gone missing but then managed to find it. On the way back to the car we thought that we would place the new cache that we were carrying, here.
There is a piece of local history nearby, marking the route of the old London to Bath coach road.
This cache could be done as a one-off, or while doing The Wombles' Roundway Down series.
For those who like local history, there is another milestone a mile away towards our Two Degrees West - Roundway. We have now put another cache there - How Far? 2.
