Jak Krtek
ke kalhotkam prisel ( 1960 )
Jedna z nejznamejsich a
nejpuvabnejsich knizek o tom, ze kdyz se vsichni spoji, tak se dilo
podari. Krtek zatouzi po krasnych modrych kalhotkach, sam ale neumi
ani tkat, ani strihat, sit nebo barvit latku. Poprosi tedy o pomoc
sve kamarady raka, rakosnicka,zabku, capa, jezka, pavoucky a
mravenecky. Ti mu radi pomohou, a Krtek se nakonec muze radovat z
novych kalhotek.
Krtek a
auticko ( 1974 )
Krtek touzi po auticku, a tak
se rozhodne, ze si ho sestavi z hromadky srotu... Ale pres veskerou
snahu auto porad nejede. Smutny Krtecek pak objevi odhozene,
polamane auticko. Kamaradka myska pomuze jako vzdy. Poradi mu, kde
si ma dat auticko na klicek opravit – a pak uz se krasne
povozi…

Petiska ( 1924-1987 )
Prozaik, basnik, autor knih
pro deti, prekladatel a editor ... Ac rodem Prazak (jeho otec
byl urednikem Delnicke urazove pojistovny), detstvi a mladi
prozil v celakovicich. Realne gymnazium studoval
v Brandyse nad Labem. Po maturite (1943) byl
totalne nasazen jako pomocny delnik ve Volmanove tovarne
v celakovicich. Po otevreni vysokych skol roku 1945 studoval
na Filozoficke fakulte Univerzity Karlovy komparatistiku (u Vaclava
cerneho) a germanistiku. (PhDr. 1949 praci Vliv evropske
dobove myslenky o vztazich individua k spolecnosti
v zrcadle Moderni Revue a ceske literatury dekadentni
v letech 1895–1905). Roku 1948 se usadil
v Brandyse nad Labem, kde zil az do konce
zivota. Po absolvovani vojenske prezencni sluzby (1950–52) se
venoval prekladatelstvi a vlastni tvorbe jako spisovatel
z povolani. 1943–50 pusobil v nekolika recitacnich
souborech a ochotnicky hral divadlo; prekladal pisne
a psal vlastni texty. Od 1947 byl clenem vyboru Umelecke
besedy. Eduard Petiska psal prózu, poezii i literaturu pro
deti a mladez, je vsak take autorem divadelni hry, odbornych
textu, eseju, predmluv a doslovu, prekladatelem. Podle
kratkometrznich animovanych filmu rezisera a vytvarnika
Zdenka Milera Jak krtek ke kalhotkam prisel (1956)
a Krtek a auticko (1963) napsal Petiska stejnojmenne
pohadky.

How The
Mole Got His Trousers ( 1960 )
Mole longs for trousers with
big pockets, but he does not know how to get them. Animals help
him. Krtek grows flax, a frog helps him to drench it, a stork
breaks it, a hedgehog combs it, spiders weave linen, a crab cuts
it, and a reed warbler sews it. Thanks to his effort and the help
of his friends, Krtek achieves what he wanted.
The Mole
And The Car ( 1974 )
Mole would like to have a car
after seeing how useful it is. But how to get one? Eventually, his
wish gets fulfilled when a spoiled boy throws away a broken toy
car. Krtek repairs it, and his dream comes true.
Eduard
Petiska ( 1924-1987 )
Czech poet, novelist, short
story writer, playwrighter, translator from German, mostly known as
author of books for children.After end of WW2 he studied German
language and literature at Charles University in Prague (finished
doctorate in 1949). Instead of looking for a fixed position in some
institution he decided on uncertain adventure of writer and
independent translator. Petiska published cca 70 children books
worldwide . He was also excellent interpreter of legends and myths
of old Mezopotamia, Egypt and Greece. According animated film
director and artist Zdenek Miler How the Mole Got His Trousers
(1956) and Mole and the car (1963) wrote Petiška same
stories.
