Geocache Description:

This is the old Orbost pump house on the Snowy River. Stumbled across it while on holidays. Though it was an interesting little spot and worthy of a cahce. The little shed in the middle of the paddock with markings on it for the water levels during floods is rather amazing it is still standing. Dates on it go as far back as 1884. The highest recorded water levels being the highest in 1971 at 32 foot 10 inches high.
