Team DESINQUIETO the
other day contacted FASCINATIONYACHT and LACRUZ18 with the idea, to
perform another little GC Event on the island. We quickly met
at the cache place proposed by Team DESINQUIETO and decided to go
this time to another barbecue place (the first two events on the
island took place at 'Las Lajas' barbecue near Vilaflor)
called 'El Contador' near Arico. The place has several barbecues
and tables with benches and even a nice playground for
children. It is very nicely situated too and can be reached
through a small road leading up from Arico. We will provide you
with driving directions at some later time.
We will
meet at approximately 1:00 pm and will continue for as long as
everyone wishes to stay. As for caching, we will make sure,
that at least one new cache, prepared just for the event, can be
found nearby. By the way DESINQUITO already owns 3 caches in
the area, so plenty of caching will be possible
too.
The early
notice for the event also allows cachers, who plan to spend their
holiday on the island, to (may be) adapt their holiday plans
accordingly.
As to
picnic planning. Everyone please bring some food and beverage to
share with the others to the event. Would be nice, if we see some
specialties from many countries. We will have at least one usable
grill available. We will also provide for enough water (with
and without gas), as it might be already hot up there. Other than
that, if any questions, just mail or write a note into the cache
page.
More
details will follow in a couple of weeks. So if you want to attend,
please watch the cache. Also please start already now registering
for the event with the number in your group so we can make sure to
reserve enough space in the picnic area. Anyhow we as the
'Organization Team' decided to meet up there with family for a nice
afternoon, so at most Spain, Great Britain and Germany will be
represented .....
Finally the
cache name 'Encuentro' (get-together) we selected for two reasons.
Firstly it was the very first time, that we all four 'got
together'. Secondly a GC event is an opportunity, where people
doing Geocaching are 'getting together'.

Hace unos
días, que el equipo DESINQUIETO contactó a
FASCINATIONYACHT y LACRUZ18, con la idea de celebrar
otra vez un pequeño evento en la isla. Rápidamente nos
encontramos en el lugar propuesto por el equipo
DESINQUIETO y decidimos elegir esta vez la zona recreativa
'El Contador'(los
primeros dos eventos se celebraron en la zona recreativa
de 'Las Lajas' cerca de Vilaflor). El sitio tiene
barbacoas, mesas con bancos y además un parque infantil muy
bonito. Es en un sitio muy agradable y tranquilo, donde
se llega por una pequeña carretera subiendo desde Arico.
Publicaremos un plano en unas semanas. Nos encontraremos a la
una de la tarde más o menos y la duración será como cada uno
quiera. En relación con el geocaching aseguraremos que por lo
menos habrá un caché cercano preparado particularmente para
este evento. A propósito DESINQUIETO ya tiene 3 cachés en la
zona, con lo que, el que quiera puede practicar bastante
geocaching en la zona.
Lo
anunciamos tan temprano para permitir que Geocachers de
otros paises, que ya están planeando sus vacaciones en la
isla, (quizás) puedan adaptar sus planes de vacaciones,
si quieren participar.
Por
favor, traer vuestra propia comida y bebida al encuentro
para compartir con los otros participantes. Sería muy amable,
si vemos unas especialidades de varios paises o de nuestras
islas. Tendremos por lo menos una parrilla para
compartir, para asar lo que queráis. Además habrá que traer
suficiente agua (sin y con gas), porque quizás hará calor
arriba. Si hay alguna duda, dejeis por favor un
mensaje electronico o un aviso en la página del
caché.
Os
pondremos más detalles en unas semanas. Por eso, si
queréis participar, mirar el cache. También sería de gran
ayuda que los interesados se registraran, para saber de
antemano la cantidad de participantes para asegurar
suficientes reservas de mesas. Sea como sea, el 'Equipo de
Organización' hemos decidido encontrarnos arriba con nuestra
familia y amigos para una tarde relajante aunque solo
estemos los participantes, por lo menos España, Gran Bretaña y
Alemania estarán representadas ......
Al
final, seleccionamos el nombre 'Encuentro' para el evento,
porque nosotros cuatro nos 'encontramos' por primera vez. Y en
segundo lugar, un GC evento es un acto de un 'encuentro' de
Geocachers.

Team
DESINQUIETO hat vor einigen Tagen FASCINATIONYACHT und
LACRUZ18 mit der Idee kontaktiert, wieder einmal einen kleinen GC
Event auf der Insel zu veranstalten. Schnell trafen wir uns am vom
Team DESINQUIETO vorgeschlagenen Platz und beschlossen,
dieses Mal ( die ersten beiden Events auf der Insel fanden auf
dem 'Las Lajas' Grillplatz in der Nähe von Vilaflor statt)
den Grillplatz 'El Contador' zu wählen. Es gibt dort mehrere
Grillstellen und Tische mit Bänken und sogar einen schönen
Spielplatz für Kinder. Der Platz ist in einer sehr schönen Gegend
gelegen und man erreicht ihn über eine kleine Straße von Arico aus.
Einen Anfahrtplan werden wir in einigen Wochen
veröffentlichen.
Wir werden
so gegen 13:00 Uhr starten und jeder kann bleiben so lange er will.
Bezüglich Caching werden wir natürlich sicherstellen, daß es zum
mindesten einen neuen Cache gibt, der nur für diesen Event
präpariert wurde. Übrigens hat DESINQUIETO schon 3 Caches in der
Nähe, d.h. es gibt auch sonst genügend Gelegenheit zum
Cachen.
Die
frühzeitige Ankündigung des Event sollte eventuell auch Cachern,
die gerade ihren Urlaub auf der Insel planen, erlauben,
(möglicherweise) ihre Urlaubspläne entsprechen
anzupassen.
Bezüglich
Planung für Essen und Trinken. Bitte bringt Euer eigenes
Essen und Trinken zu dem Treffen mit und teilt es mit den anderen
Teilnehmern. Es wäre nett, wenn wir ein paar Spezialitäten aus
verschiedenen Ländern sehen würden. Wir werden zum mindesten eine
benutzbare Grillstelle zur Verfügung haben, falls ihr grillen
wollt. Außerdem werden wir für genügend Wasser (mit und ohne
Kohlensäure) sorgen, da es möglicherweise da oben schon heiß sein
wird. Falls es weitere Fragen gibt, bitte eine E-Mail oder eine
Nachricht auf der Cache Seite.
Mehr
Details werden wir in den folgenden Wochen veröffentlichen. Wenn
Ihr also teilnehmen wollt, setzt den Cache auf Eure Watchliste.
Fangt bitte auch an, Euch jetzt schon mit der Anzahl Teilnehmer per
Logeintrag zu registrieren, damit wir entsprechende Plätze auf dem
Picknickplatz reservieren können. Egal wie, wir als
'Organisationstem' haben beschlossen, uns dort oben zu treffen, und
uns einen netten Nachmittag mit der Familie zu machen, so werden
zum mindesten Spanien, Großbritannien und Deutschland vertreten
sein ....
Zum Schluß.
Wir haben den Cache 'Encuentro' (Treffen) aus 2 Gründen genannt.
Zum ersten haben wir vier uns zum ersten Mal 'getroffen'. Zum
zweiten ist ein GC Event eine Veranstaltung, an der sich Geocacher
'treffen'.
